Property Management - Junior Property Manager

The Junior Property Manager is responsible for delivering efficient, professional support to tenants while ensuring smooth day-to-day property operations. This role focuses on tenant communication, maintenance coordination, arrears follow-up, compliance support, and accurate system management.

You will manage incoming enquiries, action maintenance requests promptly, liaise with contractors, monitor work completion, and ensure clear communication with tenants throughout the process. You will support lease administration, assist with routine inspections, manage documentation, and maintain accurate records within our CRM (Property Tree).

Success in this role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work within a structured team environment. You will contribute to meeting team KPIs by ensuring response times are met, processes are followed consistently, and service standards remain high. The ideal candidate is solutions-focused, calm under pressure, accountable for outcomes, and committed to delivering a positive tenant experience while supporting the wider Property Management team. This role plays a key part in protecting landlord assets and maintaining strong tenant relationships through proactive, efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all incoming tenant enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance requests from lodgement through to completion
  • Liaise with landlords, contractors, and internal team members to ensure efficient resolution of issues
  • Monitor maintenance time frames, follow up outstanding works, and ensure invoices are processed correctly
  • Manage arrears follow-up in line with company procedures and legislation
  • Prepare lease documentation, process lease renewals, and support compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and notes within Property Tree
  • Assist with routine inspection administration and follow-up actions
  • Ensure keys, documentation, and files are maintained accurately
  • Contribute to achieving team KPIs, including response times, arrears control, and workflow management

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in property management, tenancy support, or a fast-paced administrative role
  • Strong knowledge of residential tenancy legislation (or willingness to learn quickly)
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Confidence handling difficult conversations professionally
  • Strong computer skills
